Lecture, Society for Photographic Education Midwest Regional Conference, Cincinnati, OH. Weegee: Two Truths & A Lie. Arthur Fellig (aka Weegee) was the archetypal news photographer of the twentieth century. From the mid– 1930s through the 1940s, his photographs offered gritty tales from the urban jungle to readers of the New York City tabloids: automobile crashes, gangland murders, after–hours nightclubs and so much more. An in–depth talk that explores Weegee’s photography in detail as well as the gritty milieu in which he lived and worked.

Two-Dimensional Artwork Collection at Zuckerberg General Hospital
Two Shirts, from my SF Chinatown series, selected for the 2-Dimensional Artwork Collection at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center. The collection is comprised of 230 reproductions on aluminum panels installed in the hospital’s public corridors and waiting rooms. Three of my photos were selected for the original collection in 2016. The collection is now being expanded upon request from hospital staff to include 64 additional artworks, including my Two Shirts.
